Mrs. Lydia Long, a pioneer reident of the north part of Polk county since 1851 , died September 23 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Watson B. Turner.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. Watson B. Turner" was Mary Jane Long who married Watson Bull Turner on 14 December 1870 in Jasper County, Iowa.
