Death of Jesse Carlton

Jesse Carlton was born in Ontario, Story county in 1867. He died at McCallsburg, Thursday, May 23d, 1907, after an illness of only two weeks. he was married to Miss Ruth Deen of McCallsburg in 1895, and five children have been born to them, three of whom are now living. The funeral was conducted Saturday in the Presbyterian church at this place by Rev. Wolf, pastor of the Christian church at Zearing, and the community among whom he had lived for several years showed their sympathy and good will by a very large attendance.
