Bobby Dale “Jake” Jacobson was born on February 23, 1950 in Cherokee, Iowa to Otto and Lois (Booth) Jacobson. He married Sue Schnetzer on August 24, 1968. He worked for Central Iowa Trailer Sales in Ames.
Jake passed away April 15, 2017 at his home north of Story City at the age of 67.

Jake is survived by his wife, Sue of Story City; a son Dan (Michelle) Jacobson of Ames; a daughter, Julie Jacobson of Ellsworth; four grandchildren, Lydia, Brayden, Kaitlyn, and Mason; a brother, Rich (LaVonne) Jacobson of Florida and two sister-in laws, Jan Jacobson of Sumner, IA and Kathy Jacobson of Anoka, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Loren and Dean Jacobson.
