Mrs. O. A. L. Tjernagel died Tuesday evening at six o'clock. Mrs. Tjernagel was an elderly woman and had been sick for a number of years. She leaves a husband and seven children to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother.

Mrs. O. A. L. Tjernagel died suddenly April 16, and her funeral was held at St. Petri church. She was born in Norway in 1845, came to Illinois in 1857, and in the spring of 1864, became a pioneer on a piece of land in Story county. She was one of the sturdy women of whom the country had need. She leaves six sons and one daughter.
