Fred Hanson Accidentally Killed.
A more than common frightful and sad accident happened here last night when Fred Hanson was killed in an accident a mile west and little north of town. Fred was helping O. H. Ose to move his things to a farm south of town and he drove in company with Henry Mickalson. At the place of the accident Fred in some manner tried to get from his wagon into Henry's wagon and in this attempt he fell and lighted on the edge of Henry's wagon box with his chest and fell unconscious to the ground. Dr. E. Nordgren was instantly summoned and he brought him to his office were he expired in a short while without fully regaining consciousness. Dr. Nordgren states that he died of internal injuries together with alcoholic poisoning. Mrs. Hanson was telephoned for and she arrived shortly after he died and it was heartrending to see her grief and agony; but all the sympathy and care was given her that could be given. Besides his wife he leaves two boys, six and eight years of age. He was son-in-law of the late S. F. Griffin of Nevada.
SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. Griffin" was Alta Roxana Griffin, daughter of Simeon Franklin Griffin and Charity Terry.
