Friends of former Judge Richard of this district will note with very great regret the death of Mrs. Richard, which occurred at Webster City Thursday morning after a brief illness with diabetis. The judge has been in Minneapolis since the beginning of the year practicing law, and Mrs. Richard was about to follow him, when her illness came suddenly upon her. The judge arrived from Minneapolis just before her death. Mrs. Richard was in Nevada to attend the reception and banquet which were given by the Story county bar to the judge during his last term of court here, and she made at that time numerous acquaintances among the people of this city and county.
