Death of Mrs. Morris.

The death of Mrs. Willard Morris occurred at the family home in Ames, Sunday, January 20, and her funeral was conducted at the Congregational church on the 25, by Rev. Minchin. Mrs. Morris was one the old residents of the country, she and Mr. Morris having come to Ames to live in 1875. They celebrated their golden wedding last fall receiving their friends at Adams' Hall; but since then she has been very ill and an apoplectic stroke which occurred a few days ago proved fatal. She leaves, besides her husband, three sons, Walter, Frank and Lynn, and four daughters, Mrs. L. G. Rosenfeld, Mrs. W. Kinnan, Mrs. C. F. Davis and Miss Gertrude Morris and was widely beloved and respected.
