SLATER

Wire J. Johnson [sic] is mourning the death of his baby boy Clarence. It passed away from the Erick Sheldahl home north of Slater Tuesday, at the age of eight months. Its mother went on to the spirit land soon after it was born.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Clarence Johnson was the son of Wier J. Johnson and Carrie Sheldahl. As stated, Carrie (Sheldahl) Johnson died on 7 March 1906. Carrie was the daughter of Erick O. Sheldahl and Jorine Jonsdatter Bryne so baby Clarance died at the home of his maternal grandfather.
