John Huhn, an old soldier and resident of Nevada north of the track near the Dana school building, died last week while visiting friends in Champaign county, Illinois. His remains were brought back to Nevada for burial. The funeral services were held at the Christian church Sunday afternoon and aside from other friends were attended by the local G. A. R. Post of which he was an honored member. The services at the cemetery were conducted by his comrades. He was a man of many good qualities, aged about 74 and was well regarded by those who knew him.
