PLEASANT GROVE

Word was received here last week of the death of John Hughes at Ruthven, Iowa. The body was sent to Ames and the funeral was held Saturday at the Pleasant Grove M. E. church. Until a few years ago John lived in Story county since childhood. He was sixty-six years, nine months and twenty-four days old when he died. He leaves wife and four sons.
