Death of Martin Christian

Martin Christian, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Christian, died at the parental home here April 21, of that dreaded disease consumption. He was born in Roland Nov. 23, 1885, and had made this his home up to the time of his death. In 1906 he was united in marriage to Bertha Solbrack who died of the same disease in 1907. Martin has been in feeble health since last fall, though not confined to the bed until about two weeks. The bereaved family consists of father and mother, three brothers J. A., Lewis and Clarence, the sisters Mesdames Alice Solbrack, Lizzie Christian and Miss Sophia Christian. The funeral was held Friday at Trinity church conducted by the pastor, Rev. H. J. Holman.
