Death of Grace Lee

Mr. and Mrs. John Lee mourn the loss of their little daughter Grace who died Saturday night after but three days sickness with scarlet fever. What makes this death particularly sad is the fact that the father and mother had just left for Ayrshire to attend the funeral of Mr. Lee's sister-in-law and the little girl was left in the care of her grandmother. The disease developed almost as soon as the parents were gone. They were promptly sent for and everything was done to save her life but to no avail. She was buried Sunday. The sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved family.
