OBITUARY

Death of D. B. Marlow

Douglas B. Marlow died very suddenly at his home in this city Monday afternoon at about half-past four o'clock. He had been somewhat ill for several days and on that afternoon he was suffering considerably and was sick enough so that some of his friends were in to see him but he was dressed and about the house and he was walking about the rooms, when all at once he fell, and in a moment he was dead.

The deceased was a native of Illinois, and he was born June 26, 1860. He died, as stated, at Nevada, Iowa, December 7, 1908, aged 48 years, 5 months and 11 days. He was an industrious workingman, and he leaves a wife and daughter and a step-son, besides other relatives. His funeral will be conducted this afternoon from the Friends church by Dr. Bunce.
