Death of Halvor Erickson

Halvor Erickson, one of the oldest residents of Story City, died Monday, the 25th, at his home in that town, and his funeral was held at St. Petri church on the 28th. He had been a paralytic since March, but the immediate cause of death was pneumonia. His age was sixty-seven years. His quarter of a century residence in Story City and won for him esteem and many friends. His wife, three daughters and one son survive him, the latter of h=whom is in the United States navy.
