Jeramy Lee Adams, 45, of Story City died February 13, 2017 at his home in Story City. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 19 from 4 to 6 PM at Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Jeramy was born on October 30, 1971 in Ames to Zoeann Adams. After attending Ames schools he entered the construction industry as a metal framer and dry wall installer. His skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail was appreciated by many before he retired a few years ago for medical reasons.

On October 11, 1999, he married Lori Dubberke. He lost his best friend and soul mate when she unexpectedly passed away on May 10, 2014.

Jeramy was an avid racing fan and enjoyed watching Dale Earnhardt, Jr. He enjoyed riding his dirt bikes and his Harley Davidsons. Many winter months were spent rooting for the Green Bay Packers.

He is survived by a daughter, Cheyenne Adams of Nevada; a son, Tyler Adams of Madrid; his parents, Dwight and Zoeann Kramer of Nevada; and two sisters, Sara (Karson) VanMeeteren and Katie Kramer both of Ames.

Jeramy was preceded in death by his wife, Lori.
