Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Tyler Scott Henriksen was born September 9, 1983, and died unexpectedly February 9, 2017.

Tyler was a 2002 graduate of Ames High. His work history included several years at the Woodward State Hospital and most recently, driving a truck delivering NAPA auto parts for Roadrunner Freight.

Tyler was an avid wrestling and mixed martial arts fan. He enjoyed competing in fantasy football, and he faithfully rooted for the Chicago Bears. He often would visit friends to catch the game or UFC fights.

Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Lola Haberer. He is survived by his parents, Tom and Beth; his siblings, Sarah and Ryan; his grandparents, Ray and Millie Henriksen; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Tyler will always be remembered by his family and friends as a quick witted, fun loving guy with a lot of personality. He was a very generous family member and friend who could always make others laugh and smile. Tyler was a confirmed Christian who knew Jesus during his time on earth, and will be welcomed into Heaven.

Memorials may be directed to the family to be used at their discretion.
