Death of Mrs. Troup.

Mrs. Marlin H. Troup died Monday, March 23, 1908, at her home in Collins, aged thirty-one years; and her funeral was held at the Methodist church in Collins on Wednesday, the 25th, services being conducted by Rev. J. S. Borlan, and interment was in the cemetery at Maxwell. Mrs. Troup had been in delicate health for some time, but her fatal illness was of but two weeks duration.

Rose Adelia Randall was the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Randall of Maxwell; she was married January 10, 1899, to Martin H. Troup, her school mate and neighbor. They made their new home for time at Panora, then returned to Story county. A daughter, Olive Adelia, remains to comfort the bereaved husband, and friends without number sympathize with his loss. Mrs. Troup leaves a place which is hard to fill.
