The body of Mrs. Ella C. Jackson was brought here this afternoon and was buried in the Catholic cemetery Her maiden name was Sheridan, and she was the step-daughter of Patrick Burns, and was sometimes known by his name. The family lived in Nevada when she was a child and later in Ames, and are now residents of Des Moines. She was married six or seven years ago to Dr. E. N. Jackson, a dentist now living at Scranton and leaves her husband and a little boy. She had for the past four years been at the hospital at Clarinda, and it was there that she died on March 10. She would have been 28 years of age in April. She died of paralysis of the throat.
