Mrs. Margaret Ellis, grandmother of Mrs. W. J. Sherk of Nevada died Tuesday at her home in Chenowa*, Illinois, aged about eighty years. The deceased lady will be remembered by many Nevada people who met her during her visit here a few years ago to her son, W. W. Ellis* and family. She had resided at Chenowa* forty-five years, was widowed twenty-two years ago, and is survived by ten of twelve children. Her son W. W., now of Ames, cheered last Christmas time with a filial visit, when, though feeble, she seemed to have promise of considerable extension of her life.
