STORY CITY

Mrs. N. Thompson died Monday night at about 11 o'clock at her home in the north part of town. Last winter she broke her hip and has been ill ever since. She leaves two children and a husband to mourn her death. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon in the Immanuel church at 1:30. A large number of relatives were present at the funeral.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: The death record of Engri Thompson gives her parents name as Isak Larson and G. Ingebretsdatter. In the Norwegian patronymic name system, her maiden name would be Isakson or Isaksdatter. Her daughter, Hellene, gives her mother's maiden name as Guro Isakson so I am assuming her maiden name is Isakson.
