Roland Rockets

The death last week of Tom Thorson resulting from injuries received by being run over with a wagon is another of the sad events that have recently happened in the territory. For a number of years he operated a dray line in Roland, moving onto the Osmondson farm, so called near the Hegland school house in Milford township last spring. He had applied himself diligently to farm work during the past season, and better days were seemingly crowning him with success. He was of the respect of all neighbors and all those with whom he came in contact. The funeral was conducted Monday by Rev. Smedal.
