Death at Colo
The death of George W. Dean which occurred at his home in Colo September 17 occasions loss that is regretted. He was proprietor of the Dean hotel and had enjoyed fair health till the last two months of his life. He was a native of Ascott, Canada but grew up in Belvidere, Illinois, and there resided till he came to Colo seven years ago. He was in his seventy-third year and had been twice married. Mrs. Dean and two sons by the first marriage survive him. He was prominent in Odd Fellow and Masonic fraternities, and these orders officiated at his funeral. Brief services were conducted on Monday by Rev. Bennett at the home and final services by the Masons at Belvidere, where the burial took place.
