Deaths in Ames

Hurd Thompson Cairns died Monday August 15, at the home of his father, R. C. Cairns, after an illness of four weeks with typhoid fever. His age was twenty-three. His wife and a little son survive him. Many friends from a distance attended the funeral service, which was conducted by Mrs. McCord, a Christian Science reader from Des Moines.
