Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.
Randy Kent Egland was born October 24, 1949 to Glen R. and June (Michaelson) Egland. He worked as a meat cutter and lived in Ames after his retirement.
Randy passed away December 30, 2016 from congestive heart failure at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
Randy is survived by his siblings, Arlin Egland, Kathy Bailey and Julie Wagner; and ten nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, David Egland; and an infant sister, Julia.
No public services are planned.
