Death of Ole Heggen

Ole Heggen, a pioneer of Story county, died Saturday at his home in Huxley, and his funeral was conducted Monday at the Fieldberg church by Rev. Guttebo. The deceased was a member of the first colony of Norwegians who settled in Central Iowa, and became one of the substantial farmers of Story county. He was twice married* and is survived by his second wife, and two sons and three daughters by the first marriage.
