OBITUARY

Death of Curt Shope

Curtis A. Shope, formerly of Maxwell, died Wednesday, April 20, of consumption at his home in Los Angeles, aged twenty five years. He was the only son and child of Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Shope, and went from Maxwell to California with his parents about five years ago. His occupation has been clerical. He has been in a decline for some time and came back in search of health two years ago, as well as to visit his relatives and friends. K. F. Shope of axwell is his uncle and Mrs. Merrill Stillians of Nevada, his cousin. He was a worthy man and his loss is keenly felt.
