The whole town was saddened Wednesday morning to hear of the sudden death of Hugh Graef, Sr. He had been sick only a few days. Dr. Engle of Newton was called in consultation with Dr. Richardson, but it proved of no avail. Funeral services were held at the M. P. church Wednesday conducted by Rev. House.
