OBITUARY

Death of Mrs. Schauper

Mrs. Schauper, who resided in the west part of Nevada, and whose husband, Frederick Schauper, died June 15, 1908, passed away suddenly last Friday morning, September 2, 1909, aged 63 years, 6 months and 29 days. Her death was due to apoplexy. Funeral services were conducted on Monday the 6th at the home, by Rev. J. N. lentz of Memorial Lutheran church and interment was in the Nevada cemetery.

Mrs. Schauper had lived in Nevada eight years, she having come here with her husband from McCallsburg. She was a companionable lady and highly respected by all who knew her. She is survived by one daughter and four sons.

The daughter Emma had in recent years made her home with her parents and she ministered to them in their sickness.

The sons are Henry, Frederick, John and Andrew, all of whom are successful farmers on and near the old homestead at McCallsburg. Besides her children, there remain also five grand children.
