Helen Louise Haynes, 91, passed away on November 8, 2016, at the Ogden Manor, of failing health. She was a longtime resident and member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was well loved by family and friends.
Born on January 29, 1925, the daughter of Earl Bruders and May Louise Parsons. She had one half-brother, two brothers and one sister. Through her marriage to Charles S Savage, she had four children: James A Savage of Boone; Rose Ann (Richard) Fullmer of LeClaire, Iowa; Connie (Ron) Fowler; and Charles D (Angela) Pratt both of Boone. She has 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers and one granddaughter.Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00am on Monday November 14, 2016 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Seventh and Lynn streets in Boone, with services immediately following at 11:00am, Burial will be at Bass Point Cemetery.
