From Nevada Representative August 3, 1909 (page 5)

Death of R. A. Dool

R. A. Dool, one of our prominent harness and shoe dealers for a number of years, died Sunday morning a 6 o'clock, after several months severe illness with that dreaded disease consumption. Funeral services will be held form the house today at 1 p. m. conducted by Rev. Geo. Biersborn of Liscomb. Mr. Dool had been in failing health for two or three years, and though quite convinced most of the time that he could not recover, he still bore his illness with a high degree of fortitude. He was a man positive in word and action and forceful in personal intercourse. He possessed many elements of character of genuine worth. He will be missed in home and community and by those accustomed to meet him only on occasion.
