From Nevada Representative June 29, 1909 (page 5)

E. H. Shuttleworth arrived home this morning from Toronto, Canada, whither he had been called by the illness and death of his father. The latter, whose initials were also E. L., was seventy-five years of age, and the illness from which he died dated only from Wednesday morning two weeks ago. Shortly after getting up that morning he complained of dizziness, and soon he swooned and fell. The trouble was diagnosed as blood-clot on the brain, and he never recovered consciousness, but continued in a comatose condition until early the following Sunday morning, when he died. He was a man of much activity in affairs, and he is survived by his wife and five children. Of these two are his sons E. H. of Nevada and H. W. of Cresco in this state; while the other son and two daughters live at or near Toronto. The funeral was held at Toronto on Tuesday of last week.
