OBITUARY
Death of Mrs. Catherine McGloflin
Mrs. Catherine McGloflin, mother of Mrs. J. F. Gillespie, died Sunday forenoon at the home of her grand-daughter Mrs. Harry W. Oliver in Oklahoma City. Her funeral will be conducted from the Gillespie home in this city at three-thirty Wednesday afternoon.
Mrs. McGloflin had reached the great age of ninety years and would have been 91 in a few weeks. Her maiden name was Windsor, and she was twice married, first to a Mr. McFarland*, by whom she had her daughter, now Mrs. Williams and second to A. McGloflin, who was the father of her daughters Frankie, Emma, Alice and Ida and son James. Of these children the daughters, Mrs. Williams of Los Angeles, Mrs. Gillespie of Nevada, and Mrs. Harper of Onawa, survive. Mr. McGloflin died in Nevada many years ago. Mrs. McGloflin had for a considerable time been much broken by the weight of years, and her death occasions no surprise. She was a most estimable woman, and in the years of her activity a most capable one.
*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: This submitter has found record of the first husband being George McFarlin. Her second husband was Addison McGloflin.
