Samuel Statler, 85, died Saturday at Care Center

Samuel Edgar Statler, 85, died June 13 at the Care Center in Leon where he lived.

Born Septmber 15, 1891 in Nevada he was the son of Edgar and Cora Slifer Statler.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Edna Burns of Mishawaka, Indiana and Mrs. Louis Gamble of Washington, Illinois; three nieces, Jane Bebb, Mishawaka, Indiana, Donna Gamble Marshall and Miriam Gamble, Washington, Illinois and one nephew, Gary Gamble at Washington, Illinois.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, at the Nevada Cemetery.
