Mrs. C. M. Peabody died at her home 2 1/2 miles north of Ames, January 9th and was buried in the Ames cemetery Friday, Jan. 11. Her maiden name was May Agnes Lynch. She was born in New Orleans Dec. 14, 1867. Previous to marriage she had followed the occupation of teacher. She was quite religious, having accepted the "truth" about nine years ago.
