Severt Larson Dies at Cedar Rapids; Service at Story City

Story City, Jan. 28--Funeral services were held at the Sevold Funeral home here this afternoon for Severt Larson, 49, former Story City resident, who died of a heart attack at Cedar Rapids Monday.

Services were held yesterday at Cedar Rapids, where he had been living for some time, after which the body was brought here for brief services the afternoon followed by interment in the Sheffield cemetery southeast of Story City.

Born in Cass county, the family moved to this part of Story county when he was a boy and was baptized in the Lutheran church at Roland.

He married Zella Wiggins, daughter of a Story City family, and for several years they had lived at Cedar Rapids, where he had his headquarters as a railway fireman.

He leaves besides his wife, sons Robert of Burlington and Merrill of Cedar Rapids, three grandchildren and brothers, Lars of Roland and Jacob of Humboldt.
