Ernest Wiggins, Story City, died Ernest G. Wiggins, age 78, Story City, died Monday at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. from Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City with the Rev. C. A. Gisselquist officiating. Burial will be in Sheffield Cemetery, south of Story City. There will be military services at the graveside. Mr. Wiggins was born March 18, 1895 at Story City. He worked at the Story City Light Plant 44 years until he retired in 1950. Survivors include his wife. Bess; two sons, Donald of San Jose, Calif., and Ernest G. Wiggins. III. Indianapolis, Ind. and a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Jackson, Ames; seven grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Zella Bickehaupt. Story City and Mrs. Gwendolyn Wiggins MacDowell. Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister. The body will lie in state at Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home, Storv City.
