OBITUARY
Death of Dr. C. E. Hunt.
Dr. C. E. Hunt, the leading dentist of Ames, was found dead this morning at his home there, having evidently died some time during the night. He was a widower and had no children, his nearest relative being his father who still lives at a much advanced age on the old home in New York state. Dr. Hunt had been a prominent citizen of Ames for very many years, his home and office being in a very conspicuous location of the corner north of the present Ames post office, where no one would think now of building a residence in such proximity to the business district, but where he has been fortunately situated for his work and residence there. Dr. Hunt was about sixty years of age and was one of the most public spirited citizens of his city. His sudden death is shock to a host of friends there and elsewhere. He was active and much interested in the Masonic order, and it is assumed that his funeral arrangements will be in charge of his brethren of that order.
