OBITUARY

Death of James Will

James Will, familiarly known to numerous friends as "Uncle Jimmy" and father of Dr. J. F. Will and Lee A. Will, died a few days ago at his home in Iowa Center, where he had lived since the early days of the Civil War or before. He was a man of many most estimable qualities, but he was a native of Virginia and perhaps in consequence was not in sympathy with the suppression of the Rebellion, and in war time he was involved in various political controversies, which were most happily softened with years. He was well past ninety years of age, and his death, though certainly not to be regarded as premature, will be very much regretted.
