Funeral Held For Maxwell Pioneer

Special to the Journal.

Maxwell, Aug. 26--Funeral services were held Monday, August 14th for Mrs. Sarah Pike, pioneer of the county aged 89 years, she had been an invalid for nearly three years and is survived by a number of grown children and sisters and brothers. Burial was made in the Brethren cemetery five miles south of Maxwell beside the husband who died some years ago.
