Hattie Fern Thompson, 81, dies in Boone services Thursday

Hattie Fern Thompson, 81, a former Maxwell area resident, died Tuesday morning at the Eastern Star Home in Boone where she had lived for the past several years.

Services will be held Thursday, Oct. 7 at 10:30 a.m. from the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell. Rev. Jesse Patrick will officiate with burial in the Peoria Cemetery near Maxwell. Friends may call at Cooper's after noon on Wednesday.

Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs Mary Conner of Maxwell and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
