Last week occurred the death of the little two year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs John Hagen. The little one suffered a week from whooping cough from which it died on Tuesday. The sincere sympathy of this community is extended to Mr. and Mrs Hagen and family. There seems to be a scourge of whooping cough in Roland and surrounding territory at the present time.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Death record reflect Hazel Irene Hagen as the daughter of John Hagen and Sadie Harrison. She was born 26 November 1915 and died 14 December 1917.
