Services Here For Mrs. Jones

Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Jane Jones, 38, Scottsdale, Ariz., and her daughter, Sylvia Ann, ten months, will be here Saturday.

The services will be at 1:30 p.m. from the Adams Funeral Home. The Rev. Raymond M. Shipman will officiate. Burial is to be in Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones is the former Alice Jane Carey, daughter of Mrs. E. G. Carey, route two. She and her husband, Wilbur, his son, Michael and their daughter all died in the crash of the small plane Jan. 23 at Temecula, Calif., during a rainstorm.

Mrs. Jones was a graduate of Ames High School, 1939, attended the American Institute of Business, Des Moines and was employed for some time in Ames. She was a Chief Yeoman in the WAVES in WW II.

Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Maxine Patterson, Anchorage, Alaska, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her father in 1958.
