Keith Samson, 45, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016.

A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Stevens Memorial Chapel (607 28th St., Ames, Iowa 50010). Burial will take place in Story Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Keith was born October 8, 1970, in Fort Myers, FL to Gary and Linda (Harris) Samson. He grew up in Nevada, Iowa was a resident of Woodward Resource Center and attended Woodward State High School.

Keith enjoyed life, and was a fan of all kinds of large equipment, construction or farm. He loved to be outside, fishing or watching wildlife. Keith was passionate about all forms of auto racing, he especially liked NASCAR and Figure 8 racing.

Keith will be remembered for his sense of humor, his eagerness to help others, his passion for work, especially the time he spent at the Department Of Transportation.

Keith is survived by his brother; Kurt Swanson of South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Keith was preceded in death by his Parents; Gary and Linda (Harris) Samson.
