James D. Thompson
December 31, 1920 - April 7, 2016

James Thompson, 95, of Story City, died April 7, 2016. Private burial will be held in Warren Township Cemetery, McCallsburg, Iowa.

James Thompson was born in McCallsburg. He lived near Garden City for many years and then moved to Ames and Story City.

He is survived by his son Doug (Mary) Thompson of Fort Dodge; two daughters Kathy (Jim) Hassebrock of Brewster, MN and Renee (Terry) Carson of Fort Dodge; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
