Raynette Joy Corsaut, 55, of Nevada, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016.

Raynette was born September 15, 1960, in Guthrie Center, the daughter of George Francis and Joy Lee (Thompson) Drake. She graduated from Bayard High School in 1978 and AIB in Des Moines in 1980. Raynette was united in marriage to Timothy Corsaut on April 10, 1982, in Coon Rapids. She worked a variety of jobs in her life, but found her true passion as a caregiver for Home Instead Senior Care.

Raynette enjoyed spending time on the acreage whether it be in the vegetable garden, flower garden or watching the birds. She was a great cook and always had plenty of food to go around. Family was very important to her and she especially loved doting on her three grandchildren.

Raynette is survived by her husband, Tim of Nevada; her daughters: Michala (Sean) Becthold of Tipton, Danielle Corsaut (fiancé Tanner Davis) of Des Moines and Lacie Corsaut of Des Moines; her grandchildren: Carter, Gracie and Lillian Becthold; her siblings: Pam (Roger) Williams of Slater, Bob (Mickey) Drake of Wall Lake, Randy (Michele) Drake of Ankeny and Kelly Drake (Joe Jones) of Ankeny; along with many nieces and nephews.

Raynette was preceded in death by her parents; and niece, Katelyn Shelledy.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 11, at Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada (1418 Fawcett Pkwy). Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, also at the funeral home with inurnment at 1:30 p.m. in the Orange Township Cemetery near Coon Rapids.
