Robert H. Hostetler Funeral Services Are Held Friday

Robert Henry Hostetler was born April 29, 1883, at Meyersdale, Pa., to Elder Edwin K. and Mollie Slagle Hostetler. He was married to Maude Beal in Nevada April 1, 1914. He was a former resident of the Colo community and for the past three years made his home in Nevada as a retired farmer. He died at the Story County Hospital in Nevada, Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1962, at the age of 78. Death was due to a heart condition.
Survivors include his wife, Maude; a son, Roy of Portland, Ore. and foster son Richard Allen of Nevada; a daughter, Ruth of Nevada; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; three brothers, Charles and Gust, both of Nevada and Irvin of Meyersville, Pa. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.

Services
Funeral services for Robert Hostetler were held at the Ryan Funeral Home, Friday, Feb. 16, 1962 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Harold Smith officiating.
Miss Beeula Settle, organist, accompanied Mrs. Alice Goodin, soloist, as she sang, "Beyond the Sunset" and "In the Garden."
Casket bearers were Howard Beal, Jimmy Beal, Lafe Beal, Clifford Buffington, George Buffington, and Herman Buffington.
Burial was in the Colo cemetery.
