V. ALDERMAN DIES FRIDAY; RITES SUNDAY

Vinton L. Alderman, 71, of 208 South Duff, former custodian at Mary Greeley hospital, died at 3:20 a.m. Friday. Masons will be in charge of funeral services Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Duckworth chapel, with Rev. Fred A. Riggs of the United Brethren church officiating. Burial will be in the Ames cemetery.
Masons participating in the services will meet at the temple at 1:45 p.m.
Mr. Alderman, who had resided in Ames about 35 years, was born May 2, 1870 in Story county. He was a member of the Masonic lodge at Fitzgerald, Ga.
Survivors include his widow and three children, Russell and twin daughters, Valoris and Verda, all of Ames; three brothers, P. S. Alderman of Ames, James in Florida and one in Oregon, and a sister in Minnesota.

Note: Vinton is the son of Joseph Purley Alderman and Martha Jane (Pierce) Alderman. Married Mary Lou Dunn; buried Section 4 Row 7 Ames Municipal Cemetery (Cedarwood), Ames, Story Co., IA.
