....Early Wednesday morning, Oct 28, Myrna May, the five year-old daughter, and only child of Mr. and Mrs. Day Starr at Hawardan. She was a very bright and cheerful child, the idol of fond parents who kindly feel their loss. Her death was sudden and unexpected resulting from a severe cold which terminated in com acute affection of the throat, and was a shock to the many friends of the family. The funeral services were held at the C. P. church at the place the sermon being preached by Rev. J. W. Henderson, the pastor. The interment took place at Ames, on Thursday afternoon, the procession going immediately from the church to the burying ground. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of their many friends.
