Larry L. Osmundson was born April 18, 1945 to LaVerne and Orene (Fincham) Osmundson in Story City, Iowa. He married Cindy Chelsvig on April 15, 1978. He was a heavy equipment operator at Iowa State University for many years. Larry enjoyed fishing, camping, fishing, gardening and sports. He especially loved time spent with his grandchildren and family.

Larry passed away at 70 years of age on January 29, 2016 at his home in Story City.

Larry is survived by his wife, Cindy Osmundson of Story City; his son, Dave Osmundson of Ellsworth; three daughters, Terri (Matt) Bogenrief of Ames, Heather Barber of Story City and Heidi (Paul) Vanden Hull of Ankeny; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and three sisters, Shirlene Brendeland, LuAnn Stowe and Tammy Greer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Jeff Osmundson.
