Obituary.
Died of la grippe, in Colo, Iowa, February 23d, 1890, Mrs. Nancy A. McQuillin, wife of Mr. John McQuillin, and daughter of Mrs. Teresse and Mr. John Broughard. The deceased was born in Story county, Iowa, December 31st, 1853, and was married Mr. John McQuillin, April 13th 1870.
About 22 years ago, she professed faith in Christ as her personal Savior and hers was a quiet peaceful trust. She was very dignified in manner and in many respects a model woman. She was a loving wife; a true mother; and a faithful daughter. He busy fingers, and cheerful face will be much missed by a large circle of friends. Of relatives who mourn, are a kind and affectionate husband and daughter, two sisters (Mrs. Ella Wilson and Mrs. Rachael Rush), four brothers; also her aged parents, with whom they lived and for whom she (very feeble--only convalescent) anxiously and faithfully cared. In their recent sickness. Alas! in three days her body succumbed; and her happy spirit (we trust) was borne by a convoy of angels to the Paradise of God.
The funeral service was conducted by the writer, assisted by the M. E. pastor in the M. E. church. True regard for the departed was evidenced in part by the large assemblage at the funeral, although the day was very cold and stormy.
A. W. GILCHRIST--Elder.

Resolved, That J. B. Steadman Corps No. 68 W. R.
